Case Study: Industrial Property Sale, Portland, Oregon
Property is part of a Super Fund site involving EPA and the State of Oregon, Department of Environmental Quality. The project required a Phase 3 study to determine possible contamination. An agreement with the State of Oregon was completed to make the project exempt from further potential litigation from DEQ with a “no further action” letter. We also worked with the regional office of EPA to exempt the property from litigation for the Super Fund clean up.
Case Study: Condo and Marina Project, Puget Sound, Washington
Owner wanted to value add to their property, an existing old marina, by creating a condo project with a marina. We were retained to do a feasibility study. The property’s location on the Puget Sound created opportunities and issues. Research was required to determine the permitting required and if building were even allowed at the site. Negotiations with the local First Nations interests were also required as the site was a historic fishing location.
