Case Study: REC Solar Factory, Singapore
Client requested assistance in regaining the confidence of the owner which required extensive staff development including better communications methods, organizational changes in paper management and establishing a full Earned Value schedule system. In addition we directed an intensive effort to help spearhead a 5 million man hour safe work record.
Case Study: Rio Tinto Alcan Aluminum Smelter, Kitimat British Columbia, Canada
We provided Project Management for $50M subcontract to a Bechtel project including scheduling, extra work documentation to expand contract size, and negotiating with owner as we keep the existing plant on line while demolishing the old plant. Technical consulting was also provided for multiple heavy lifts and transporting of loads to 240 tons. Flow charts were prepared to facilitate communications between the owner, Bechtel and the subcontractors. Contract value increased to in excess of $80M through proper documentation of extra work.
Case Study: Carver Bridge, Clackamas County, Oregon
We assisted the contractor in the successful completion of a proposal for a CMGC proposal for $10M project. Work included making the proposal including coordinating all of the contractor’s staff, and also helping in the proposed method of construction for the project.
